Iran on Tuesday carried out drone and missile attacks on the bases of Jaish al-Adl, a Sunni militant group operating in Pakistan's Balochistan province, which resulted in the killing of two children. Following that, there have been escalating diplomatic tensions between both countries.
Responding to media inquiries regarding recent air strikes by Iran in Pakistan, Randhir Jaiswal, the Official Spokesperson for the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), stated that the issue is bilateral between Iran and Pakistan. Jaiswal highlighted India's unwavering position of zero tolerance towards terrorism, stating that the country comprehends actions taken by nations in self-defense.

The spokesperson's remarks underline India's commitment to maintaining a neutral stance on conflicts between other countries while reiterating its strong stand against terrorism.
The attack on Pakistan came just a day after Iran's Revolutionary Guards hit targets in Iraq and Syria with missiles claiming to have hit Israel's spy headquarters.
In response, Pakistan expelled the Iranian ambassador and recalled the envoy from Tehran.
"A strong protest has already been lodged with the senior official concerned in the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tehran. Additionally, the Iranian charge d'affaires has been called to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to convey our strongest condemnation of this blatant violation of Pakistan's sovereignty and that the responsibility for the consequences will lie squarely with Iran," Islamabad said in a statement.
