Suspense hung over the release of popular Tollywood actor Allu Arjun on Friday night as authorities at Chanchalguda Central Jail awaited the official orders from the Telangana High Court. According to media reports, Telugu actor Allu Arjun may have to spend the night in jail due to a delay in the release of his interim bail order following a stampede at the premiere of his film Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Jail authorities have reportedly prepared a Class-1 barrack for Allu Arjun at Chanchalguda Jail. As the actor's release was held up, hundreds of his supporters gathered outside the Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad, protesting the delay.
Allu Aravind, father of actor Allu Arjun, decided to leave Chanchalguda Jail due to delays in the legal procedures, despite his son's bail being granted. Reports indicate that Aravind had been waiting at the jail for a long time, and eventually chose to leave
The Telangana High Court granted Allu Arjun interim bail, stating that being an actor should not lead to punishment. The court also directed him to cooperate with authorities in the ongoing investigation.

Pushpa 2 Stampede Case
Actor Allu Arjun was arrested for questioning in connection with a woman's death during a stampede at the Pushpa 2 premiere in Hyderabad on December 4. He was taken into custody on Friday morning and later offered Rs 25 lakh as compensation to the victim's family. After a hearing, the Telangana High Court granted him interim bail. Allu Arjun was briefly held at the Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad.

The police also filed a case against Allu Arjun’s security team, and the theatre management under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), based on the woman's family's complaint.
