In an unfortunate incident, three buses of the Amarnath Yatra convoy collided while they were travelling to base camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam. At least 10 people were injured in the accident that took place on early Sunday morning.

According to officials, the injured were immediately rushed to a hospital, where their condition is said to be stable. All three buses were damaged in the accident.

Other pilgrims travelling in the affected buses were shifted to additional buses, and the convoy proceeded on its onward journey. The convoy was returning after pilgrims had their darshan at the cave shrine.

On Wednesday morning also, a car collided with a divider in Narsu area. Five devotees travelling in the car were injured in this accident. One devotee suffered severe head injury, while four were slightly injured.

The accident occurred at around 6:17 am when the speeding car number HR40H6485 in the group lost control and collided with a divider in the Narsu area while heading towards Pahalgam.

Hearing the loud sound of the car collision, the security personnel and relief and rescue team members deployed for security reached the spot.
