Andhra Horror: A woman in the West Godavari region of Andhra Pradesh was taken aback when she received a package that contained the remains of an unidentified individual.
The horrifying event was reported from the West Godavari district's Yendagandi village in Undi mandal.
A woman named Naga Tulsi had applied for financial assistance from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi to build the house. She had been sent tiles by the Samithi.
She once more requested additional construction assistance from the Kshatriya Seva Samithi. It was stated that the Samithi had pledged to supply electrical appliances. The applicant received a WhatsApp message informing her that she would be receiving switches, fans, and lights.
On Thursday evening, someone dropped off a package at the woman's home and departed after telling her it contained electrical goods.
Later, Tulsi was horrified to discover a person's body when she opened the package.
Her relatives were in a frenzy as well. The cops responded quickly once they were notified.
For an autopsy, the body was moved to a government hospital. Police registered a case and initiated an investigation. Adnan Nayeem Asmi, the district superintendent of police, also went to the area and looked into the matter.
The package also contained a note threatening the family with dire repercussions if they did not pay the Rs 1.30 crore.
The police were looking for the person who had delivered the package. Kshatriya Seva Samithi representatives have been called in to be questioned. Police claim that it is the body of a man who is approximately 45 years old. The person may have passed away four to five days ago, according to the police.
Police took the body away for an autopsy. To determine whether the victim was murdered, investigations were underway.
