Assam Earthquake: In a brave act in Assam’s Nagaon district, two nurses were seen protecting and shielding newborn babies at a private hospital in Nagaon district during an earthquake that struck Assam on Sunday.
The footage was captured at around 4:40 pm at Aditya Nursing Home.

Assam Earthquake
Strong tremors were felt across the Northeast, West Bengal and neighbouring country Bhutan after an earthquake of 5.8 magnitude hit Assam on Sunday.
The epicenter of the earthquake was located 15 km from Udalguri city and hit at around 4:41 PM. The National Centre of Seismology (NCS) stated that the quake's location was at 26.78 North Latitude and 92.33 East Longitude, which is in Udalguri district. The depth of the earthquake was 5 km.

The 5.8 magnitude on Richter Scale is considered moderate in nature, with a potential of none to mild damage. So far, no loss of life and property has been reported. This latest quake comes after a natural disaster of 3.5 magnitude hit Assam on September 2.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, in a post on X, said, "The epicentre (of the earthquake) was near Udalguri. So far, there has been no report of any major damage or loss of life. We are actively monitoring the situation."
