Assam News: A 35-year-old man died of a heart attack after collapsing outside his son’s school in Assam's Jorhat, where he had gone after taking a day off work to attend the announcement of his child’s UKG results.
The incident happened last Thursday, January 15, when Dipankar Bordoloi had collected the result and was leaving the campus of Samford School. Dipankar, who was a resident of Sonari Gaon in Jorhat, collapsed on the spot and died, reported NDTV
The video of the incident has gone viral on social media. The CCTV footage captures Dipankar in the lobby, walking towards the exit gate of the school. He can then be seen jumping, with his hands in front in a bid to grab something to maintain balance. Soon after, Dipanakar falls on his face. Dipankar was declared dead by doctors on arrival at the Jorhat Medical College and Hospital.
Dipankar Had No History Of Illness
According to Dipankar’s family, he did not suffer from any major illness and was absolutely fit. He was employed at the Irrigation Department of the Assam government under the Teok Division as an Executive Engineer and his wife is a homemaker. Dipankar’s death has left the teachers, school staff and parents in deep shock.
Earlier, in another news, Prashant Tamang, who rose to fame after winning Indian Idol's third season, passed away on January 11. The singer-actor died following a stroke at his Delhi home in Janakpuri at the age of 43, according to Nepal News. He had a heart attack and was brought to a hospital in Dwarka, where he was declared dead.
In another incident, Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal's son, Agnivesh Agarwal, suffered a cardiac arrest at the age of 49 in New York.
