Bengal Weather: The Alipore Meteorological Department has forecast rain in South Bengal districts as a result of a new low pressure area formed in the Bay of Bengal. Kolkata will witness clear skies on Monday with no possibility of rain. The weather body has however forecast light rain in Kolkata, later in the week in view of showers in South Bengal.

South Bengal Weather

Several South Bengal districts will witness rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday, as per the weather body.

North and South 24 Parganas, Howrah, Hooghly, Midnapore and Midnapore districts, are expected to see light to moderate rain.

Fishermen are advised not to venture into the deep sea area of Eastcentral and adjoining Northeast Bay of Bengal along and off the South Bangladesh coast from November 3 to 5.

North Bengal Weather

Scattered rain is expected at some places in Darjeeling and Kalimpong districts on Monday. Meanwhile, Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri and Malda-Murshidabad districts will see dry conditions. North Bengal is likely to witness very less thunderstorms over the next few days.
