A video that has gone viral shows the moment where the bride's mother decided to call off the wedding after the groom misbehaved and threw the aarti thali during the rituals.

Witnessing the disruption, the bride’s mother expressed deep concern for her daughter’s future. In front of gathered relatives, she firmly stated, “I trusted you all a lot, but you didn’t respect us. Honestly. I beg you with folded hands. If this is how things are now, what will happen to my daughter in the future?”

As tensions rose, the groom's family attempted to persuade the bride’s mother to reconsider, suggesting they could sort out the issues later. However, she remained resolute, insisting they leave the premises for their disrespectful behaviour.

The incident has sparked a wave of reactions on social media. One user praised the bride’s mother, stating, “Very good Aunty, we are proud of you.” Another commenter questioned why the groom couldn't stay sober on such an important day.
