The prolonged delay attracted criticism from residents and civic groups, leading the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) to issue a 15-day ultimatum to complete the pending work.

The Deccan Herald report cited officials as stating that, the final touches are now underway and the flyover will be ready for use soon. Once inaugurated, it is expected to ease bottlenecks at the PES College junction and streamline traffic flow along the busy stretch, offering long-awaited respite to thousands of daily commuters.

In separate news, The Bengaluru North City Corporation (BNCC) carried out a massive cleanliness drive on Saturday, clearing more than 599 tonnes of waste across seven divisions. The initiative, led by BNCC Commissioner Pommala Sunil Kumar, began at 10 AM and spanned 95 kilometres of city roads.
