Bengaluru Power Shutdown: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has alerted the residents of electricity supply cuts in Bengaluru from July 17 to July 24 (a week) to carry out infrastructure upgrade work along key transmission lines. The outage will occur in multiple areas in and around Devanahalli. BESCOM has urged residents to plan their days in advance to avoid inconvenience during the maintenance window.

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will be replacing conductors on the 66 kV Doddaballapura-Devanahalli transmission line connected to the 220 kV Doddaballapura power station. This maintenance work will affect power supply to multiple 66/11 kV substations in the region, as per an official notice by BESCOM.
