Jharkhand Weather Update: The Meteorological Center, Ranchi, has issued rain warning in most parts of Jharkhand including Dhanbad till July 17 as monsoon showers continue. Due to low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, it rained intermittently throughout Tuesday. A record rainfall of 605.2 mm has been registered so far in the monsoon season.

The weather body has issued a yellow alert for Dhanbad. Heavy rain is likely in areas of the north-eastern parts. There is also a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning during this period.

Due to the increased rain activity, a drop in temperature has also been recorded. As the rain continues, there is no possibility of any major change in the temperature in the next two days. Following that, there may be a gradual increase.

Heavy Rain Expected In Jamtara

During the next few days, a change in weather pattern will be seen in Jamtara and surrounding areas. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in Jamtara and surrounding areas during the next five days. Due to the change in weather, temperature fluctuations are also likely.

The difference between the maximum and minimum temperatures will be recorded between three and four degrees Celsius. The wind is expected to blow at a speed of 12 to 19 km per hour.
