Bengaluru Power Cut On December 7: The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has stated that several regions of Bengaluru are set to witness power outages on Sunday. While providing details, the authority stated that the emergency maintenance works by the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) will lead to the power outages for seven to eight hours. It further assured that the services will be back to normal once the repair work is finished. The BESCOM has also advised the residents to follow the guidelines and plan their day accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.

"In case of any power outage, immediately call Bescom 24x7 helpline number 1912," BESCOM stated in its post on X (formerly Twitter). "Be careful with electricity and always follow safety measures," the authority added. Apart from this, several regions of Bengaluru is also expected to witness moderate to heavy rain in the upcoming days, leading to waterlogging and power outages. The authority has advised the fishermen to maintain a distance from the water bodies and limit their financial activities to avoid inconveniences.

Earlier on December 5, several regions, including Reliance Industries, Alisda, Jai Bharat Industries Area, Tata Akval, Karle, Raghavendra Layout, RNS Motor, Muneshwar Nagar, Vaishnavi Nakshatra Apartments, LT Karle, Muneshwar Nagar 1st Block, RTO Track Road, Platinum City Apartments, BFW, and NTRO, witnessed power cuts. However, it clarified that the power supply will be restored once the maintenance work is finished.
