Smooch Cabs:  Bengaluru is known for its never-ending traffic bottlenecks, and irate commuters frequently go to social media to express their frustration. However, in the middle of the everyday commotion, a company has launched "Smooch Cabs," a special private taxi service reserved for couples who wish to spend some "quality time" together while on the road.

Smooch Cabs is not concerned with getting you where you're going, in contrast to Ola, Uber, or Rapido. Rather, these taxis provide couples with extended, undisturbed journeys that let them enjoy precious time together.

Smooch Cab Features

Tinted windows and a rigorous "Do Not Disturb" policy are two unique features of Smooch Cabs that are intended to provide privacy. A few drivers have even asked for noise-canceling headphones in order to eliminate any "distractions" in the cab. While travelers appreciate their privacy, other road users are irritated by vehicles that appear to halt during rush hour.

People's Reactions

The service has grown in popularity since its launch among couples seeking a way out of moral policing. Traffic cops have expressed worry, though, pointing out that some vehicles stay still throughout rush hour.

“Traffic here usually moves slowly, but now some cars just refuse to move," an officer remarked, as per DNA India.

Additionally, the trend has prompted autorickshaw drivers to provide "privacy rides" to lonely singles. However, this idea does not sit well with everyone. Many contend that it violates Indian traditional norms, and some have even called for the service to be banned.

Smooch Cabs appears to be expanding despite the uproar; pre-bookings are already taking place in Delhi and Mumbai.
