Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Aero India 2025, one of the world's leading aerospace and defence exhibitions, is set to take place at Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru from February 10 to 14. Given the event's strategic location near Kempegowda International Airport and National Highway-44, officials have implemented extensive traffic arrangements to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
The traffic management plan will be in effect from 5:00 AM on February 10 until 10:00 PM on February 14. Key measures include one-way traffic on certain roads to streamline movement. Specifically, Nitte Meenakshi College Road will operate from east to west, while Bagaluru Main Road will run from west to east.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Alternative Routes to Kempegowda International Airport (KIAL)
For those heading to KIAL, alternative routes are outlined:
From Bengaluru East: K.R. Puram, Hennuru Cross, Kottanur and Gubbi Cross lead to Mylanahalli Begur back gate for KIAL.
From Bengaluru West: Follow Goraguntepalya, BEL Circle and Gangamma Circle, then proceed to KIAL.
From Bengaluru South: The route includes Mysore Road, Nayandahalli and Chandra Layout before reaching KIAL.
Bengaluru Aero India 2025: Traffic Advisory
- To ensure safety and reduce congestion, there will be prohibitions on the movement of trucks, private buses and heavy goods vehicles along key routes. This includes:
- No heavy vehicles on Bengaluru-Bellary Road from Mekhri Circle to MVIT Cross and vice versa.
- Prohibitions on Goraguntepalya to Hennuru Cross, as well as various junctions throughout the area.
Additionally, parking restrictions will be enforced on both sides of the road in several locations, including Bagaluru and Hennur Cross, among others.
Bengaluru Aero India: Parking Facilities
Parking has been carefully organised to accommodate the expected influx of visitors. Free parking will be available at the GKVK campus and free BMTC AC shuttle buses will run between the GKVK parking area and both the Air Display Viewing Area (ADVA) and the domestic terminal.

Designated Parking areas include:
ADVA Parking: Access via Gates 8 and 9.
Domestic Area Parking: Entry through Gate 5.
Bengaluru Aero India: Suggested Routes for Parking
To facilitate access to parking areas, the following suggested routes have been provided for different parts of Bengaluru:
From Bengaluru East to ADVA Parking: Drivers should take K.R. Puram, turn right at Nagavara, proceed through Thanisandra Telecom Layout, Jakkuru Cross, and Yelahanka Bypass, continuing to the service road by the Ford showroom to reach ADVA parking.
From Bengaluru East to Domestic Area Parking: The route includes K.R. Puram, Hennuru Cross, Kottanur, Gubbi Cross, Kannur, and Bagaluru Layout, then through Razaak Palya and Hunasamaranahalli.
From Bengaluru West to ADVA Parking: Travel via Goraguntepalya, BEL Circle, Gangamma Circle, and M5 Palya Circle. After a left turn at Mother Dairy in Unnikrishnan Junction, continue on Doddaballapura Road to reach Nagenahalli Gate, then take a right to Harohalli and Gantiganahalli Circle for ADVA parking.
From Bengaluru West to Domestic Area Parking: Drivers should follow a similar route as above, making a right turn at Rajanakunte and continuing through Addiganahalli, MVIT Cross, and Vidyanagar Cross to reach the Domestic Area.

From Bengaluru South to ADVA Parking: Take Mysore Road, Nayandanahalli, and Chandra Layout. After reaching Goraguntepalya, follow the same directions as above.
From Bengaluru South to Domestic Area Parking: Use the same initial route as the ADVA parking, then follow the domestic area directions.
Bengaluru Aero India: Visitor Guidelines
Attendees are advised to scan the QR code on their tickets or passes to confirm their entry gate and route, helping to avoid unnecessary delays.
