Cyclone Fengal: Bengaluru residents are being urged to drive with caution as the city experiences slow-moving traffic due to heavy rainfall caused by Cyclone Fengal. The Bengaluru City Traffic Police issued a traffic advisory through their official social media handle, X, warning commuters to stay alert as the downpour continues to disrupt normal traffic flow.
The heavy rain, which has already started affecting various parts of the city, is expected to intensify. Waterlogging, particularly in areas like Rayasandra towards Anekal, has further slowed down traffic. For immediate assistance during emergencies, residents are advised to call 112.

In response of heavy rainfall due to cyclone Fengal, the Union Territory of Puducherry has declared a holiday for government and private schools, as well as colleges, on Monday, December 2. This measure aims to ensure the safety of students and staff amid the severe weather conditions.
For Tuesday, December 3, Bengaluru is forecasted to experience temperatures ranging from 19.81°C to 25.59°C, with humidity levels at 73%. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and advise residents to stay updated on weather alerts and avoid unnecessary travel during the ongoing heavy rainfall.
Whereas Cyclone Fengal, which made landfall on the coasts of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry on Saturday, November 30, has caused widespread flooding in several areas, particularly in Cuddalore, heavy rainfall is expected as the storm moves westward.
