Vehicular movement came to a near standstill along the Outer Ring Road (ORR) stretch from Silk Board to Hebbal as downpour lashed several parts of the city during peak commute hours. Commuters were left stranded for hours, with vehicles inching forward through waterlogged junctions and heavily congested lanes.

May two-wheeler riders took shelter under the flyover and metro bridges to escape the rain, while others struggled to navigate knee-deep water. Cars and buses were stuck bumper-to-bumper, with several drivers switching off their engines to save fuel during the prolonged standstill.
