Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Bengaluru witnessed yet another day of heavy traffic on Tuesday, July 2, with major snarls reported during peak office hours across several key roads. Commuters, especially in the eastern and southeastern parts of the city, faced long delays while heading to work.

Bengaluru: Sarjapur Road–Ibbalur Traffic

One of the worst-hit stretches was the Sarjapur Road–Ibbalur corridor, which experienced severe congestion. Traffic police said the route saw a sudden rise in vehicle numbers during peak time, adding to the regular bottlenecks along this stretch.

Bengaluru: Karthik Nagar to Marathahalli Bridge Traffic

Another traffic-heavy zone was the road from Karthik Nagar to Marathahalli Bridge. Vehicles moved at a snail’s pace, and long queues were spotted throughout the morning. Several office-goers reported delays due to the pile-up.

Authorities have urged commuters to use real-time navigation apps and follow traffic advisories to avoid congested areas. Citizens have also been requested to stagger their travel timings, where possible, to reduce pressure on busy corridors.

Traffic police continue to monitor key stretches and are deploying additional personnel where required.

In separate news, a Bengaluru entrepreneur’s witty take on the city’s traffic woes has struck a chord online.
