Bengaluru-Vadodara IndiGo Flight: A video of a pigeon flying inside an IndiGo flight moments before take-off has gone viral on social media, adding to the airline’s ongoing operational troubles. The clip was shared on Instagram and is said to be from an IndiGo flight scheduled to depart from Bengaluru to Vadodara.

In the video, the bird is seen moving across the cabin and flying above passengers as it tried to find a way out. Cabin crew and a few travellers attempted to catch it, but the pigeon continued moving through the aisle, causing a brief disturbance before take-off. The moment was captured by a passenger and later posted online by a digital creator with the caption, “A surprise guest in the flight… A moment of joy and humour. Enjoyed.”

IndiGo’s Ongoing Crisis

The video emerged as IndiGo continues to deal with severe disruptions across its network. Over the past week, the airline has reportedly cancelled more than 4,500 flights, leading to widespread delays and inconvenience for thousands of passengers nationwide.

Despite government intervention and measures taken by airlines to support affected passengers, confusion, long queues and overcrowded terminals have persisted. IndiGo has said that operations are stabilising, yet more than 400 new cancellations were reported on Monday morning, keeping pressure on the carrier as it works to restore normal services.
