Bengaluru Weather: India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of intensified cold wave conditions in Karnataka's Bengaluru in coming days. The minimum temperature is expected to drop to 13 degrees Celsius. The weather body has also forecast foggy mornings followed by clear skies in the evening for the city on Monday. According to the weather department, Bengaluru will see foggy conditions till January 7. The minimum temperature will settle at 13 degrees Celsius and maximum will hover around 28 degrees Celsius. Bengaluru's January average temperature of 15.8°C is significantly higher than this predicted low. The city's lowest recorded temperature, which was 7.8°C on January 13, 1884, is still the lowest ever.

Karnataka Weather
Interior regions in Karnataka are likely to experience a 2 degrees Celsius drop in minimum temperatures over the next two days, stabilising thereafter. Coastal Karnataka is expected to see no significant change.
Bengaluru recorded a minimum temperature of 12.4 degrees Celsius on December 16, lower than the 12.8 degrees Celsius recorded on December 24, 2011, during a similar cold wave spell.
Residents are advised to prepare for colder-than-usual mornings and take precautions to stay warm during this brief cold spell.
