Bihar Cabinet Expansion Today: Political activity is rife in Bihar with May 7 poised to bring significant changes to the state's politics. Ahead of the proposed Samrat Chaudhary cabinet expansion at Gandhi Maidan in Patna, there's a flurry of activity within the corridors of power. The ceremony on Thursday will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Nabin.
The most talked-about candidate is Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar's longest serving CM Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. According to reports, Nishant has agreed to accept the ministerial position in a meeting with JDU leaders. Following Nitish Kumar's Rajya Sabha election, his son Nishant Kumar entered active politics. He is set to receive this position just eight weeks after entering politics.

Nishant Was Reluctant To Join Bihar Govt
According to reports, Nishant had been reluctant to join the government. He relented after senior leaders persuaded him and explained his importance to the current government.
The news of Nishant Kumar's potential cabinet induction has given a new twist to Bihar politics. It is being seen as a sign of a new generation entering the JDU and the party's future strategy.
Earlier in March, Nishant decided to enter politics after staying away from it for a very long time. While he remained active in social activities, Nishant never contested any poll or held any post in the party. With Nitish Kumar moving to national politics, Nishant's role is likely to be crucial JDU’s further decision making.
THESE JDU Leaders Can Become Ministers
The list of possible JDU ministers include - Nishant Kumar, Shravan Kumar, Ashok Chaudhary, Lesy Singh, Madan Sahni, Jama Khan, Sunil Kumar, Damodar Rawat, Bulo Mandal, Sheela Mandal, Ratnesh Sada and Shri Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha.
Reports suggest that several BJP leaders, including former Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, Mangal Pandey, Dilip Kumar Jaiswal, Ram Kripal Yadav, and Sanjay Singh Tiger are likely to become ministers under the BJP quota. Apart from this, other leaders such as Shreyasi Singh, Arun Shankar Prasad, Lakhendra Paswan, Rama Nishad, Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi, and Surendra Mehta.
