The Chief Minister added that to enable real reform in public education, he wants the government schools to be accessible and desired by everybody.
According to the minister, effective change in the system will only occur when the ministers, MLAs, and senior officials’ children attend government schools.

During the event, the Chief Minister said the ideals of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas, harmony, service and humanity, should reach every village in Bihar. He announced that soil from Guru Ravidas' birthplace would be distributed at the district, block and panchayat levels, and made available to temples, monasteries and communities wishing to receive it.
“If there is anyone who embodies the values of harmony, equality, service and humanity, it is Sant Ravidas Ji. Think about this: a saint was born in India centuries ago, who belonged to his community and society and received everyone’s blessings in one form or another. You may have just watched the film. What lesson do we learn from it? The lesson is that everyone in society helps one another," the CM said.
