Hours after the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress announced their seat-sharing agreement for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Gujarat, and Goa ahead of the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari reminded Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of his promise to put leaders of the grand old party in jail.
“You must have heard 'chor chor mausere bhai'. That is what is happening between AAP and Congress. AAP workers are disappointed because Arvind Kejriwal used to speak about putting Congress leaders in jail but he is now at their feet. Congress workers are disappointed too. Arvind Kejriwal and AAP had ousted Congress from their 15 years of rule and now Kejriwal is sharing the stage with Rahul Gandhi," Tiwari said in a post on X.

Tiwari also said that BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are still in the heart of everyone. “The people of Delhi will decide everything because today it is clear that the top leaders of AAP and Congress are one and the same," he said.
Meanwhile, BJP leader Nalin Kohli said that the mood of the nation is with PM Modi due to the work that has been done in the past 10 years. He also alleged that the AAP recognised that its credibility was going down in the national capital due to serious allegations of corruption, and following the arrest of prominent leaders of the party in connection with the liquor scam.
"The seat-sharing that has happened between AAP and Congress, several things are cleared now. The first is that the Congress accepted that it would be a junior partner in several states to regional parties. At the national level, no INDI alliance exists,” Kohli was quoted as saying by ANI.

“AAP recognizes the harsh reality that its credibility is going down, especially in Delhi due to serious allegations of corruption, liquor scam and his two ministers are in jail. All the opposition parties have recognised that the mood of the nation is with PM Modi due to the work that has been done in the last 10 years,” he further said.
Meanwhile, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla wrote, "This is actually 'Thugbandhan' (INDI alliance). What a confusion and contradictory status! In Punjab, they will keep fighting and in Delhi, they will unite... They are allying with Lalu (Yadav) and Sonia (Gandhi), whom they have wanted to send to jail."
