Bigg Boss 20: Controversy has erupted inside the Bigg Boss 20 house following claims made by contestant Rhiti Tiwari, daughter of actor-politician Manoj Tiwari and his former wife Rani.
 
During a recent episode of Salman Khan’s reality show, Rhiti claimed that despite her father’s fame, she received a monthly allowance of just "around Rs 20,000-25,000" and managed on tight budgets, eating "a Rs 10 vada pav twice a day".

However, her mother's ex-partner, singer Ekam Bawa, has publicly hit back at these statements, accusing her of fabricating her financial struggles and slamming her behaviour on the show.

Releasing a video response alongside photographs with Rhiti and her mother, Ekam Bawa, who stated he lived with the family from 2020 to 2025, strongly refuted her claims of financial hardship.

Ekam Bawa questioned her narrative by pointing out her alleged luxury lifestyle, "Jiske paas Rs 4-5 lakh ke handbags ho... Uske baad aapke paas badi badi gadiya hai. Range Rovers ka toh Rs 2.5-3 lakh ka kharcha hai khali. Aap Rs 25,000 keh rahe ho? Sports company hai aapki, jiska itna bada turnover hai ki collectors ka naam bhi juda hai uske sath... Ekam Bawa urged her to stop misleading the public and criticised her conduct inside the house, particularly addressing her heated arguments with singer Qazi Touqeer, "Logon ko paagal banana band kariye aap. Bigg Boss mein jake aap logon ko gaali de rahe hai... Aap jake mard ko gaali doge? Qazi ko gaali derahe ho maa-behen ki? Gussa toh aayega na?"

Prior to Bawa's video, Rhiti shared an emotional conversation with co-contestant Aamrapali Dubey regarding her parents' 2012 divorce. She recalled, "8 saal ki thi jab dad ghar se nikal gaye. 9 saal ki thi jab divorce final hui. Mom got my custody... Jab milti thi, hum rote the ki mere paas mere papa nahi hai aur mere papa ke paas unki beti nahi hai."
