Pune: A railway staff at Pune station saved a passenger from an accident as he attempted to board a moving train. The incident, caught on CCTV Footage and shared on social media by the official X handle of Pune Division, Central Railways, shows the dangers of ignoring railway safety guidelines.

The video, which has garnered over 11.1k views since being posted on March 28, shows the quick action taken by Digambar Desai, a member of the MSF staff, as he prevented a near-fatal accident onboard train no. 11301 Udyan Express. Desai's quick thinking and dedication to passenger service have been appreciated by DRM Pune, who shared the video, with a reminder to passengers to exercise caution while boarding and deboarding trains, stating, "Passengers are requested to avoid boarding or deboarding running trains. Your safety is our priority!"

The incident serves as a reminder of the Indian Railways' repeated appeals to passengers, urging them not to attempt boarding or deboarding moving trains.

Several social media users took to the comments section of the video to express their admiration for the railway staff member's heroic act. One user applauded Desai's bravery, stating, "Really a salute towards his bravery & quick action. The country needs such true friends of the nation."
