Chennai Power Cut Today: The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced a scheduled power cut Today, on Saturday, in several localities within KK Nagar, Chennai, due to maintenance work.

Chennai Power Cut Today: Outage Timing

The electricity department has scheduled maintenance and repair work in multiple localities in KK Nagar on Saturday, local media, Live Chennai.com, reported. The repair work will be taking place in the afternoon, hence there will be five five-hour power outages in Chennai areas from 9 am to 2 pm.

The Corporation has assured residents that the power supply will be resumed before the scheduled time if the maintenance work is completed ahead of the expected time.

Chennai Power Cut On Saturday: Affected Areas

The TANGEDCO has announced 5 power outages in localities within KK Nagar, Chennai. Here’s the list of affected localities-

Ashok Nagar, MGR Nagar, Ekkatuthangal, Kalaimagal Nagar, Balagi Nagar, Visalakshi Nagar, West Mambalam, Brindhavan Extension, Nakkeran Street, Jafferkhanpet, West KK Nagar, Nesapakkam, Vadapalani.

In separate news from Chennai, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on September 30 inaugurated India’s longest and Chennai’s first steel flyover in the Thiyagaraya Nagar area. The 2-km-long steel flyover is officially named J. Anbazhagan Flyover in honour of the late MLA J. Anbazhagan.

The steel flyover will connect South Usman Road to CIT Nagar Main Road in Thiyagaraya Nagar.
