Gujarat Hospital Hacked: A shocking case emerged in Gujarat in which videos, featuring women patients, from the Payal Maternity Hospital in Rajkot, reached the porn market. The cyber hackers accessed the hospital's servers and stole CCTV footage. The hackers got the clips due to negligence on the part of the hospital administration. The hospital management used a weak password for the CCTV system, prompting cyber criminals to target the hospital.

The hackers not only hacked the hospital's CCTV system but also stole hours of private footage of women undergoing examinations in the gynaecology ward.

They uploaded this footage to an international porn network to make money. The case has now become one of India's most disturbing cyber scandals.

Videos Sold For Rs 700

The matter came to light when teaser clips from the hospital were shared on YouTube channels named Megha MBBS and CP Monda. People interested in the videos were then instructed to join a Telegram group. These videos were sold in this Telegram group for prices ranging from Rs 700 to Rs 4000.

Nationwide Network Of Porn Cyber Criminals

The hackers had access to the hospital's system for about a year. From January 2024 to December 2024, the hackers exploited the system's vulnerabilities. It is reported that approximately 50,000 such clips were stolen from across the country in just nine months. Acting swiftyly, police arrested a few members of the cyber gang in February 2025. The investigation revealed that the matter was not limited to Rajkot alone. Similar incidents were confirmed in Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Surat, Ahmedabad, and Delhi.

Their targets included 20 states across the country, where they hacked the CCTV systems of hospitals, schools, corporate houses, cinema halls, factories, and private residences. The investigation revealed that most of these CCTV systems used factory-set passwords like "admin123".
