Delhi News: Ahead of the Republic Day week, Delhi Airport Operator DIAL said on Saturday that, for the next eight days until January 26, there will be no flight arrivals or departures between 10.20 am and 12.45 pm.
The busiest airport in the nation, Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA), sees about 1,300 flight movements every day.
Details concerning the impact of the curbs on previously scheduled flights of various airlines could not be obtained immediately.
"As per the NOTAM (Notice to Airmen) issued for Republic Day week from 19th to 26th Jan 2025, no flights would be arriving or departing from Delhi Airport between 10:20 AM to 12:45 PM IST," DIAL said in a post on X.
Delhi International Airport Ltd (DIAL) further recommended travelers to check with the airlines directly for the most recent flight information.

Flights Delayed In Delhi Due To Fog
Flight and train operations in Delhi were impacted; delays were noted at the New Delhi Railway Station and the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.
The foggy weather in the capital caused 47 trains to be delayed until 6 am, according to Indian Railways.
Early on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, low visibility conditions brought on by heavy fog severely affected operations at the Delhi airport, resulting in six planes being diverted, over 300 flights being delayed, and departures being temporarily halted.
