Delhi Air Quality Update: Delhi’s Battle with worsening air quality continues to intensify, with the city recording an air quality index of 333 at 7 am on Saturday, remaining in the ‘very poor’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The CPCB data from multiple air quality monitoring stations across Delhi showed that the air remained ‘very poor’ in a major part of the city, with only a few stations registering ‘poor’, which is below 300 AQI points.
Station-Wise Delhi AQI Today
The Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) monitors air quality data through 40 monitoring stations across the city.
As per the data CPCB shared at 7 am on Saturday, only 4 out of 40 monitoring station registered an AQI under 300, placing them in the ‘poor’ category. The majority of the Delhi AQI stations with ‘very poor’ AQI remained above 350.
Delhi Areas With Higher AQI Today
Anand Vihar- 336 (improved 12 points from yesterday), Ashok Vihar- 348, Vivek Vihar- 309, Bawana- 375, Chandni Chowk- 348, Dwarka Sector 8- 344, Jahangir Puri- 365, Mundka- 381, Wazirpur- 359, Burari Crossing-333, and Punjabi Bag- 348, deteriorating by 12 AQI points from yesterday.
Vivek Vihar registered a significant improvement over what its AQI was on Friday at 7 am, as it improved by 46 AQI points.

Delhi Areas With Low AQI Today
IGI Airport- 263 (improved 4 points from yesterday), Aya Nagar- 289 (improving 2 points from Friday), Mandir Marg- 256, and NSIT Dwarka- 260.
