Delhi Pollution Update: As the national capital is experiencing a sharp dip in temperature and Chill nights, the air quality in the city continues to tell the same story, with Delhi’s Air Quality persistently hovering around the ‘very poor’ category.
Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) remained in the very poor category at 324 at 7 am on Friday, according to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
The CPCB data from multiple air quality monitoring stations across Delhi showed that the air remained ‘very poor’ in a major part of the city, with only a few stations registering ‘poor’, which is below 300 AQI points.

The air quality data recorded at 40 different monitoring stations across the national capital and shared by the CPCB showed that only 8 out of the total monitoring stations registered ‘poor’ air quality today. The remaining station recorded ‘very poor’ air quality.
