Delhi School Bomb Threat: Two prominent schools - St. Thomas School and Vasant Valley School - in Delhi's Dwarka received a bomb threat via email on Wednesday morning, prompting authorities to launch a thorough search operation, with officials saying nothing suspicious has been found so far. The bomb scare occurred just ahead of the beginning of the morning shift. The search operation affected the daily routine of the schools, and parents and students also faced inconvenience amid panic over the bomb threat.
The Fire Department said, "A bomb threat received via email at St. Thomas School and Vasant Valley School in Delhi's Dwarka. The investigation is underway. Nothing suspicious has been found yet."
10 Schools And One College Received Such Bomb Threats In 3 Days
Delhi Police said, the St. Thomas School in Dwarka, Vasant Valley School in Vasant Kunj, Mother's International School in Hauz Khas, Richmond Global School in Paschim Vihar, and Sardar Patel Vidyalaya, Lodi Estate, received bomb threats via email this morning. Around 10 schools and one college received such bomb threats in the last three days, it added.

St Stephen's College, School In Delhi Receive Bomb Threat
This was the second bomb threat to Delhi school withing 24 hours. Earlier, Delhi's St Stephen's College and St Thomas School had received bomb threats through email on Tuesday. However, nothing was found after a throughout search.
"The mail claimed that four IEDs and two RDX bombs have been planted on the premises and in the library of the college. It further claimed that those would explode by 2 pm," a police officer was quoted as saying in a statement.
Teams from the Maurice Nagar Police Station and other agencies reached the spot, and the entire premises were cordoned off, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Raja Banthia.
Later, the Delhi Fire Services also issued statement, saying the fire department received a call about the bomb threat in St Stephen's College at 8.50 am, and a call from the St Thomas School was received at 8.01 am.
"We have rushed multiple fire tenders to the spot. Nothing suspicious was found during the check," it said.
