Delhi Blast:  Shocking revelations have emerged about Umar Un Nabi, the doctor-turned-suicide bomber, for plotting a car bomb attack near Delhi’s Red Fort. During the intense interrogation of other doctors from the terror module nabbed in Faridabad, investigators have learned that Umar was driven by a desire to avenge the 2016 killing of Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Wani by Indian security forces, according to a report by Jagran.com.

Sources say Umar idolised Wani and had allegedly pledged to carry out a strike in the national capital to ‘settle the score’ for the slain terrorist’s death.

Umar Called Himself 'Emir'

Investigators were able to get a huge amount of incriminating information during the interrogation of several doctors arrested under the white collar terror module, which was busted in Haryana's Faridabad.

Umar was given a character descriptor ‘emir’ by Muzamil Shakeel, the doctor at Faridabad's Al-Falah University, who was allegedly the first to be recruited into the terror module by the Jaish-e-Mohammed's main contact, Maulvi Irfan Ahmed and arrested after another doctor, Adeel Rather, revealed his involvement in terror activities to the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

The word ‘Emir’ means the leader or the ruler. Emir is a title given to rulers.

Another terror suspect, Shaheen Saeed, who has also been arrested, has also provided critical information to investigators.

Umar Knew Nine Languages

Investigators reveal that Umar Un Nabi spoke nine languages and was the most educated and brilliant member, so sharp that a fellow accused Muzamil Shakeel told police Umar could have easily become a nuclear scientist.

"We couldn't resist him [Umar Un Nabi]. His words were full of facts and research. He always called himself emir and didn't talk much. Till the end he maintained that it was about religion and nothing else," Muzamil Shakeel said, according to the investigators.
