Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Accident: A major accident occurred on the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway on Tuesday morning when 22 vehicles collided near the Pathshala Chowk on the elevated road due to poor visibility caused by dense fog. Around 30 people were injured in the pile-up, six of whom were admitted to the Central Health Center with severe bleeding. Two were referred to a higher center in critical condition, jagran.com reported.
The accident happened at around 7:30 am, when vehicles going towards Delhi suddenly collided with each other at Pathshala Chowk on the elevated road of Delhi-Dehradun Greenfield Corridor.

On receiving information about the accident, Pathashala Chowki in-charge Kapil Chauhan, ambulance and firemen reached the spot.
Jagtar Singh, a resident of Punjab, was referred to a higher centre in a serious condition. While a young man with a leg injury was taken to Delhi hospital by his relatives in a vehicle via the elevated road. Among the injured, Ashok, a resident of Khekra, suffered a serious head injury, while Rafiq, who was going to Delhi from Charthaval, suffered a serious injury. The rest were treated for minor injuries.
Among the injured, Kuldeep, Qurban Ali, Mohit, Arman, Amit, Shubham, Subhash Sharma, suffered minor injuries.
Of the 22 vehicles involved in the collision, occupants managed to remove eight that had sustained minor damage, while 14 severely damaged vehicles remained at the site. Passersby later pushed the damaged vehicles to the side of the road, allowing traffic to be restored.
