Electric Bus Services On Delhi-Dehradun Expressway
An electric bus can travel up to 250 kilometres on a single charge. Since the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway has reduced the distance between the two cities to just 210 kilometres, these vehicles can complete the entire journey without needing to recharge en route.
Speaking to Live Hindustan, Kranti Singh, Roadways General Manager of Operations, stated that preparations for these operations are underway at the government level. The government has requested a proposal for this initiative, which the corporation has finalised and will soon submit for approval.
