The newly formed BJP-led Delhi government has scheduled a four-day session of the 8th Legislative Assembly from February 24 to February 27. The session will witness the swearing-in of MLAs and 14 Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) reports, pending for five years, will be presented in the House, officials said.

In its first Cabinet meeting on Thursday, chaired by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, the government decided to table the 14 pending CAG reports, which were allegedly withheld by the previous Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government.

CM Rekha Gupta also announced the implementation of the Centre's Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi, claiming that the initiative was previously stalled by former CM Arvind Kejriwal’s government. The BJP had highlighted healthcare access as a key issue in the recently concluded Assembly elections.
