An incident in East Delhi’s Jagatpuri captured public attention after a young girl attempted suicide, prompting her lover to rush her to the hospital, where he tragically succumbed to cardiac arrest. The girl, whose identity remains undisclosed, filmed her self-harm act and sent the video to her boyfriend, Arjun (23), igniting a series of tragic events.

According to police, the couple had been in a tumultuous relationship for about a year, often arguing over various issues. While the girl was a law student focused on her career, Arjun reportedly lacked ambition and frequently engaged in partying, causing friction between them, reported TOI.

The couple’s latest quarrel occurred around 10 PM on Friday, sparked by an argument the girl had with one of Arjun's relatives. Feeling insulted, she returned home around 11:30 PM and slit her wrist. The girl also sent a video of her self-harm act to his boyfriend.
