Delhi Metro News: Due to a technical glitch, Delhi Metro services between University and Central Secretariat on the Yellow Line have been affected. Trains from Kashmiri Gate to Gurugram are running delayed, causing a huge crowd of passengers to gather at interchange stations like Hauz Khas and Kalka Ji. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has informed about the technical issue on its social media platform. 

The glitch on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro has had a ripple effect, impacting services on the Blue Line and causing significant disruptions for thousands of commuters. While services on the affected stretch are operating with delays, DMRC assured that all other corridors of the metro network are functioning normally.

According to a statement released by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on its official social media handle, trains are currently running behind schedule between University and Central Secretariat stations. The development has led to frustration among passengers, with many facing difficulties in reaching their destinations on time.  

Delhi Weather Update: Heavy Rain Lashes City

A spell of heavy rain lashed parts of the Delhi-NCR region on Friday morning, bringing traffic to a crawl in several areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued a yellow alert for Noida, Ghaziabad, and parts of the national capital, warning of intense rainfall.

Waterlogging was reported at multiple spots in Noida and Delhi, leading to congested roads and slow traffic movement. Commuters faced significant delays, with many stuck in traffic jams for hours.
