Delhi Metro Bye-Election Timing: The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced an extension in Delhi Metro services due to the upcoming Municipal Corporation of Delhi Bye-election. The metro timing update will apply to polling day on November 30 and the counting day on December 3. 

Delhi Metro MCD Bye-Election Timing

The DMRC has announced a metro service timing update on November 30 (Sunday), which will be the counting day for the MCD Bye-election in 12 wards, and December 3 (Wednesday), the counting day.

-The services will begin as early as 4 am on both polling and counting days.

-The metro services will operate at an interval of 30 minutes till 6 am, which is the metro’s starting time.

-From 6 am, the Delhi Metro will operate at its usual frequency, following the regular Sunday timetable.

-The last train will leave at 11.30 pm, 30 minutes later than the usual closing time.

-The Delhi Metro has announced the change in the timetable for the bye-election to ensure smooth and timely movement of polling personnel and staff during the MCD Bye-Elections in 12 wards.

Delhi Metro Blue Line Timing

The blue line of the Delhi Metro, which connects Delhi to Noida, a part of Uttar Pradesh, will mirror the wide 4 am start of the metro. The Blue line will follow the 4 am to 1:30 pm metro timing on both polling and counting days.

In another Delhi metro news, the Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has sought assistance from the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to develop an Integrated Data Management System (IDMS) to handle Operations and Maintenance (O&M).
