Delhi Metro Update: In a major update for the commuters of Delhi-NCR, three new metro corridors are expected to become operational by the end of this year. The authorities stated that the construction work is rapidly proceeding on these corridors to finish the work within the deadline. The corridors include two sections of the Magenta Line's Janakpuri West to RK Ashram Marg extension and the Golden Line's Aerocity–Tughlakabad corridor. As per the reports, their launch will add approximately 41 km to the metro network.

The reports suggest that the two sections of the Magenta Line are Krishna Park Extension to Deepali Chowk and Majlis Park to RK Ashram Marg. Apart from this, the construction work is underway at the Golden Line's Aerocity–Tughlakabad corridor. The corridors will provide convenience to the residents of these regions by cutting the travel time and reducing traffic congestion.
