Delhi Mock Drill On May 7: As part of a nationwide emergency preparedness initiative, mock drills will be conducted at several locations in Delhi on Wednesday evening, May 7. The drills will include the sounding of war sirens and the participation of Civil Defence volunteers, police personnel, and various government departments.

The drills are scheduled to take place at areas in New Delhi and around Delhi Cantonment, starting at 4 PM.

This initiative follows a directive from the Union Home Ministry in response to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan after the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. In compliance with the order, senior Delhi Police officials have instructed all Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs) to formulate detailed preparation plans.
