The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) on Thursday introduced a QR-based ticketing facility through the Paytm Mobile App across all lines.
With the introduction of this new feature, commuters can now get mobile QR tickets on the Paytm app under the 'Delhi Metro' section, by just entering the station of entry and destination on the day of the journey, Delhi Metro officials said.
With this feature, passengers can proceed with their journey by just holding their smartphone in front of the QR code scanner of the Automatic Fare Collection (AFC) gates at both entry and exit stations. Earlier, this facility was available only on the Airport Express line.
