Delhi AQI News: As the air quality of the national capital, Delhi, continues to deteriorate with average AQI regularly crossing the mark of 350 points, the Rekha Gupta government has merged a few measures under GRAP stage 4 into GRAP 3, directing offices to operate with half the strength in office.

Government and private offices in Delhi have been directed to work with 50 per cent strength on site, and the rest in work-from-home mode.

Currently, the Graded Response Action Plan level 3 or GRAP-3 is implemented in Delhi. GRAP is determined by the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM).

Delhi AQI: Restrictive Measures For Schools

Restrictive measures like not allowing children to play in open in schools are already in place due to worsening Air Quality Index (AQI) in Delhi.

CAQM Prepares Measure To Combat Pollution

The CAQM prepares measures to respond to deteriorating air quality by taking data from the entire National Capital Region (NCR), and subsequently prepares measures with other agencies based on the average AQI.

Delhi uses the GRAP stages to decide how much daily life and activity the city can restrict based on how bad the air pollution gets each winter.
