Delhi School Bomb Threat: Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka received a bomb threat in the early hours of Monday, leading to panic. Delhi Fire Service stated that the school premises has been evacuated as a precautionary measure, adding that bomb disposal squads have been called for the search purposes.
"Delhi Public School (DPS) Dwarka received a bomb threat call today. Authorities have evacuated the school premises as a precautionary measure. Police and bomb disposal squads have been called to the spot for search," Delhi Fire Service informed, reported ANI.

While providing details, the Delhi police stated that the threat was received through a Gmail ID, adding that apart from DPS Dwarka, two other schools also received similar threats. It further stated that Modern Convent School and ShreeRam World School also received threat on Sunday.

While reacting to the news, one of the parents stated that he was asked to take the child back, adding that the school did not give any specific reason. "We received a message from the school to take the children back. They did not tell the reason. So we have come here to take back our child," one of the parents was quoted as saying by ANI.
Although the previous two bomb threats turned out to be hoaxes, security agencies are taking today's call seriously and are following all necessary protocols.
