Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for several routes due to rising water levels in the Yamuna River. Waterlogging has been reported on Outer Ring Road (Majnu Ka Tila-Ring Road Bypass) and adjoining roads, while a pothole has developed on NH-44 at Singhola Flyover (Mukarba Chowk-Singhu Border).

The rising water level in the Delhi section of the Yamuna River caused massive traffic snarls on Thursday, as floodwaters inundated key stretches across the national capital, including Kashmere Gate, Ring Road, Outer Ring Road, and the Kalindi Kunj area. Vehicular movement slowed significantly at these points, leaving commuters stuck for hours, while congestion was also reported on routes leading to Wazirabad, ISBT, Sarai Kale Khan, and Ashram.

1. Due to heavy rains, a pothole has developed on the NH-44 Singhola Flyover (Mukarba Chowk-Singhu Border). For safety reasons, both carriageways have been closed and traffic is being diverted.

All vehicles will be diverted from the above points to available alternate routes

2. Due to rising water levels in the Yamuna River, waterlogging has occurred on Outer Ring Road (Majnu Ka Tila–Ring Road By-Pass) and adjoining roads, leading to heavy traffic congestion.

From Mall Road towards Outer Ring Road via Khyber Pass/I.P College: Diverted via P.S. Civil Lines Red Light - Rajpur Road - Shamnath Marg - Dr. Karnwal Marg - Barfkhana Chowk/Rani Jansi Road

From Wazirabad towards Majnu Ka Tila Outer Ring Road: Diverted via foot of Wazirabad Flyover - Nanksar - Khajuri Khas - Shastri Park Pusta - Geeta Colony Flyover - Vikas Marg -  I.T.O. Chowk

From I.T.O. towards Rajghat via Outer Ring Road: Diverted via I.T.O. Chowk - Vikas Marg -  Geeta Colony Flyover - Marginal Band Marg - Shastri Park Pusta - Khajuri Chowk - Signature Bridge

From I.T.O., Pragati Maidan & Nizzamuddin towards Rajghat via I.P. Flyover: Diverted under I.P. Flyover - Vikas Marg - Geeta Colony Flyover - Marginal Band Marg - Shastri Park Pusta -  Khajuri Chowk - Signature Bridge

From Shanti Van towards ISBT on Outer Ring Road: Diverted via Shanti Van→ Raja Ram Kohli Marg Geeta Colony Flyover
