Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police has announced traffic restrictions and diversions in view of a Live Music Concert that will be held at Main Arena (Gymnastic), Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium (IGI stadium) on September 12, 2025 from 3 pm to 10 pm. The restrictions will be in place for the convenience of general public and security reasons.
Delhi Traffic Advisory: Restrictions And Diversions Near IGI Stadium
-No heavy vehicles and buses shall be allowed on IP Marg / Vikas Marg (MGM Road).
-Traffic movement restricted on Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Depot.
-Commuters are requested to avoid the following stretches from 1 pm to 12 midnight on the event day due to expected congestion:
-IP Marg (MGM)
-Vikas Marg
-Ring Road (Rajghat to IP Depot)
Entry To The IGI Stadium
-Gate No. 7 and 8: Accessible from Velodrome Road.
-Gate No. 21 and 22: Accessible from MGM Road.
-Gate No. 16 and 18: Accessible from MGM Road.
Parking Arrangements For The Event
-Limited parking is available for labelled vehicles near the stadium.
-Display of parking labels on windscreen is mandatory; vehicle number must be written on the label.
-Vehicles without valid labels will not be permitted.
-Label holders are advised to take Ring Road and access parking via MGM Road.
Instructions For General Vehicles
-No parking will be allowed on Ring Road from Rajghat to IP Flyover (both carriageways) on the event day
-Vehicles parked in violation will be towed and prosecuted as per law

-Motorists are requested to remain patient, adhere to traffic rules and cooperate with traffic personnel for a smooth experience. Follow the directions of the police deployed at key intersections.
