Khajuri Chowk in Delhi’s North East district, a bustling market area, has long been known for severe traffic congestion. Residents and commuters have struggled with bottlenecks here for years. In a bid to ease the situation, the Delhi Transport Department has decided to reroute several DTC buses via the Khajuri flyover instead of passing directly through the chowk.

Delhi Minister and Karawal Nagar MLA Kapil Mishra announced it while addressing the area's chronic traffic woes. “Buses heading toward the Signature Bridge will now use the flyover, bypassing Khajuri Chowk altogether. This should reduce pressure and make commuting smoother,” according to Jagran.com.
