Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police have issued an advisory in different parts of the city on Sunday for different events in the national capital. While the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) has announced the first edition of the SCBA Run/Walkathon (Justice for All), a heavy crowd is expected to turn up for stand-up comedian Samay Raina's show and rapper Akon's concert at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The authority has announced several restrictions regarding these events, further advising the commuters to take the alternate routes to avoid any inconvenience. The traffic police have also suggested the residents use the public transportation to cut the travel time and avoid traffic.

Akon's Concert At JLN Stadium

The American rapper-singer Akon is set to perform at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium at Lodhi Road between 5 pm and 10 pm. The traffic police stated that the fans will only be allowed to enter through the gate numbers 13 and 14, adding that the gate numbers 7 to 9 have been allotted as the parking spaces.

Apart from this, the commuters will also be able to park at Scope Complex MCD parking to avoid the delays. “Restrictions on plying of heavy transport vehicles on JLN stadium traffic signal to entire B.P. Marg will remain effective between 4 pm and 11 pm on Sunday to avoid any traffic blockage,” the traffic police stated.

Traffic Advisory For 'Samay Raina Still Alive & Unfiltered'

Stand-up comedian Samay Raina will also be performing at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium at Indraprastha (IP) Estate near ITO. The police stated that the vehicular movement will remain affected in several regions, including IP Marg, Vikas Marg, and the Ring Road between 1pm and 11pm.

Apart from this, the police also stated that the traffic will also remain disrupted at the Outer CC Panchkuian Road towards Panchkuian Road due to the construction of a U-drain at Panchkuian-Bangla Sahib Road in central Delhi.
