Delhi Weather: The national capital will see dry conditions with no rain on Sunday, said the India Meteorological Department (IMD). According to the met department, there will be a partly cloudy sky with the maximum temperature hovering around 36 degrees Celsius. A similar trend is expected to carry on for the next two to three days. Thereafter, Delhi will witness rainfall activity, starting September 25. It is also likely to intensify from there on.

Delhi Weather: 7-Day Weather Forecast

September 21: The temperature will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius, with a partly cloudy sky.

September 22: The temperature will range from 25 degrees Celsius to 36 degrees Celsius, and the sky will remain partly cloudy.

September 23: Expect a minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 36 degrees Celsius, with partly cloudy skies.

September 24: The weather will be partly cloudy, with temperatures between 26 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius.

September 25: The temperature will range from 26 degrees Celsius to 34 degrees Celsius, with generally cloudy skies and light rain or drizzle.

September 26: Expect temperatures between 26 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, with rain or thundershowers.

September 27: The weather will continue with rain or thundershowers, and temperatures between 25 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, the IMD has issued a heavy rainfall warning in various states on Sunday. Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka are expected to receive heavy rains, while light to moderate rainfall is likely in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Haryana.

Kedarnath Yatra Disrupted Due To Landslide

A 15-meter section of the Kedarnath trekking route near Jungle Chatti collapsed on Friday night due to a landslide, halting the pilgrimage on Saturday. More than 5,000 pilgrims returning from Kedarnath were safely redirected through an alternative route to Gaurikund. No new pilgrims were allowed to proceed from Gaurikund and Sonprayag, leaving over 3,000 pilgrims stranded.

Floods Wreak Havoc In Bihar

In Bihar, water levels in the Ganges, Son and their tributaries continue to fluctuate, with many areas experiencing worsening flood conditions. Districts such as Bhagalpur, Munger, Lakhisarai and Begusarai saw a rise in water levels on Saturday, with many areas inundated by floodwaters. A section of National Highway 80, between Munger and Bhagalpur, was submerged under 1.5 feet water. The Central Water Commission reported that the water level has risen by 15 cm in the past 24 hours.
