Delhi-NCR Weather Update: Gurugram and Rewari experienced light rain with cloudy skies on Tuesday morning, bringing relief to the people from the scorching heat. Delhi and Noida also witnessed cloudy skies since morning.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), there are chances of drizzle in the Delhi-NCR region on June 17, 19 and 20, which will bring down the temperatures. On June 18, the sky is expected to be clear.
The temperature in the Delhi-NCR region dropped by approximately 10 degrees on Monday due to cloudy skies throughout the day. The maximum temperature was recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.2 degrees Celsius. Though the afternoon was humid with mild sunshine, the rest of the day was a little more relieving for the people compared to the last week.

The IMD has forecast that the temperature in this week will range between 33 degrees Celsius and 36 degrees Celsius during the daytime, whereas the nighttime temperature will range between 25 degrees Celsius to 29 degrees Celsius.
There was a change in the weather since Sunday. Delhi got relief from heatwave on Monday. Few parts of the Delhi-NCR region experienced drizzle, while the others were cloudy. While the day was sunny, the absence of a heatwave and occasional cloudy skies helped ease the heat.
Following the drizzle in Rewari since morning, there are chances of heavy rain in the upcoming days, accompanied by lightning and thunder. Besides bringing relief to the people, the change in weather will be favourable for farmers too.
