Delhi Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on July 18. The residents are likely to witness overcast skies throughout the day. Though no alert is in place for Delhi till July 23, light rain or drizzle may occur at several places. Delhi and several NCR cities, including Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Gurgaon, witnessed heavy rain on Thursday at around 9:30 PM.

Delhi Weather: Light Rain To Continue With Overcast Skies
According to the latest forecast by IMD, wet spells are likely to continue till July 23. The national capital and NCR cities may expect light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning on July 18. No weather alert for rain is in place for July 18 and nor for the coming 4-5 days.
The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain one or two degrees below normal in the national capital and neighbouring areas. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature will remain around 27 degrees Celsius throughout the week.
The day will feature moderate humidity at 56 per cent. Moderate humidity with steady winds will help maintain comfortable conditions despite mild heat.
The weather pattern will create mixed conditions across the national capital and neighbouring regions, alternating between mild heat and rainy spells till July 23. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the air quality index on Thursday was 70, holding steady in the ‘satisfactory’ category. Similar conditions are likely to prevail throughout the week.
