Indigo Flight Emergency Landing: Amid a wave of flight incidents, an Indigo flight made an emergency landing at Nagpur, Maharashtra, after receiving a bomb threat. The Delhi-bound flight was flying from Kochi to Delhi.

The 6E2706 Indigo flight took off from the Kochi airport at 9:20 AM and was expected to land in Delhi at 12:35 PM. It was diverted to Nagpur after receiving a bomb threat mid-flight. Passengers were safely deboarded and security checks of the aircraft were undertaken.

The airline authorities have confirmed that no suspicious object has been found in the aircraft. Police, bomb disposal squad, and fire brigade teams immediately arrived at the airport, and further investigation is underway.

In a similar incident, a Mumbai-bound Air India flight was deplaned in Kolkata after facing a technical snag. The Air India flight en route from San Francisco to Mumbai landed in Kolkata at 12:45 AM. According to several media reports, the Air India flight was expected to depart from Mumbai at 2 AM, but it experienced a technical snag in one of its engines during the halt. The passengers were asked to deplane for their safety.

Another Air India flight was cancelled on June 16. The Ahmedabad-bound Air India AI 12493 en route from Mumbai was halted as it experienced some operational issues.

This wave of flight incidents follows the tragic plane crash that took place on June 12 when the Ahmedabad-London Air India AI 171 flight crashed seconds after takeoff. 241 passengers were killed, and only one passenger survived the deadly plane crash.
